We came in on Sunday, and usually the service is pretty bad when it's busy. The food is always good but the waitresses always have an attitude on the weekdays. This weekend, Claire was our waitress and she was a sweet heart. We had a spill and she was quick to help us!! She was so nice and also they gave us a small discount for the small accident. The drinks by Jin Tea Shop is also really really good. Thank you Claire for being a great waitress!

Food is always excellent, service is good but anniversary promotion is misleading. It says buy one meal and one drink and you would think you get one meal and drink for free. Not so. You buy two meals and you will get 2 vouchers for small soup meal in the future starting in October 2024. Then you have to buy two drinks and they will give you each an extra drink. So you'll end up with four drinks Anyway I ended up spending $77 fur 2 meals and 4 drinks. Tip was $12.

I've been to this Boiling Point many times and it's always been very consistent in preparation and taste. My go-to is the Beef Hot Pot because I think overall, it has the best soup base and combination of toppings (sliced beef, tofu, fish cake, corn). The sliced beef can be pretty fatty, but it's not dry. I get it medium spicy which isn't too overwhelming, but still adds a lot of flavor and depth to the soup. It has a lot of Napa cabbage fillers and I wish it would automatically come with more toppings like fish cake. I much prefer the Beef Hot Pot over the BP Special because the latter is a lot smellier from the fermented tofu, and also contains pork blood and intestine - none of which are bad, but I'd rather have beef over these. I've also tried their fruit teas, which are very refreshing and pairs well with the savory hot pot. Their milk tea is also pretty solid as well, which is really impressive considering their bread and butter is hot pot.

This is probably the 4th time I've visited and the customer service doesn't disappoint! I'm a boiling point lover so I love the food of course. I will say I haven't had to wait AT ALL versus the other locations, I'd wait anywhere from 20-45 mins depending on the time of day. I've been to this location during the lunch hour on a weekend, weekday/weekend nights and still no wait times. As for my most recent experience, I accidentally left my keys on the table. My boyfriend and I were probably close to the end of the block, and I hear behind us, "excuse me! you left your keys!" One of their workers chased after us. He could've left it at the restaurant and waited for me to call or come back to retrieve it, but no! He went out of this way to run it back to us! Shout out to the tall, curly haired dude who was working on Wednesday night (5/29)! I didn't get your name but, THANK YOU!!! I was having an already bad day and this made my night. We'll def be back!!!

Yum! I could eat Boiling Point for breakfast, lunch or dinner, but this weekend, we headed over after our work out. We walked in around 12:30pm and were seated right away. The restaurant was quite full but it seemed as if many of the tables were clearing out, which totally worked out in our favor. Their concept offered a starter of roasted peanut before taking our orders. I decided on the Taiwanese spicy with brown rice, and it was phenomenally spicy. Perfect hit of sweat and tears. Our servers were fairly attentive at the start of our meal, but we noticed that our additions orders/requests took a bit longer than usual as it seemed like their FOH team was quite small compared to the number of guests dining in the time. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! We parked in the structure on De Lacey, but street parking is also available on Green.

Came here for early dinner because we were craving our boiling point usuals. It was solid, as usual. I like this spot but it can feel kinda tight! However, I couldn't help but think there were some things that bothered us. Their Taiwanese spicy has noticeably shrunk in size, they never really refilled the broth for us, service always felt kind of slow or non-attentive. Some workers knew we were waiting on them because we even eyed them but I think I guess they were busy with something else, at the same time it felt like we were being avoided lol. Anywho will probably still eat here cuz it's boiling point! Park in the nearby parking structure!

Boiling Point Concept is located in the heart of Old Pasadena. It serves mainly pre-set Hot Pot - which is a popular Asian soup dish with various vegetables, proteins married together with a strong soup base. It's great for cold weathers. It's insane that a little chafing fuel can is heating the stew as you eat. Figuratively, yes, you are consuming food at "Boiling Point." I had the Milk Cream Curry at medium spicy level. It was milder than I thought it would be - but turned out to be just perfect. Since the food was just so hot - temperature wise. I usually find hot pot to be too troublesome to eat. Since I'm so clumsy, I was worried of buring myself or food just getting everywhere. I look forward to my next visit. I think it's a great introduction to asian cuisine, as there so much variety and customization. Do be prepared for stinky tofu smell. If another patreon orders it, you'll know!
